"Thanks to Ryan — the owner, trainer, and coach of Grind City — my son Chris’s journey over the past two years has been nothing short of amazing. His hard work and dedication, combined with Ryan’s guidance, have transformed his game to an entirely new level. Ryan’s incredible basketball IQ and remarkable ability to connect with his players inspire everyone around him. Grind City isn’t just a place to train — it’s a place to grow, to push your limits, and to discover your true potential. "

"Ryan’s the real deal — not just a trainer chasing a paycheck, but someone who genuinely loves what he does. You can tell by the way he pours into the kids. He holds them accountable, teaches discipline, and pushes them to be better — not just on the court, but in life. The proof is in the progress; every time Carter steps on the floor, I see the impact Ryan’s had. Truly appreciate what you guys are doing at Grind City"

"An Incredible 6 Year Journey with Grind City Training Athan started training with Ryan Kennedy at Grind City Training when he was 8 years old, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. We couldn't be more grateful for the incredible impact Ryan has had on his development, both as a player and as a young man. What truly sets Ryan apart is his remarkable ability to customize every single session. Whether it was a one-on-one lesson or a large group clinic, Ryan had an innate sense of what each player needed. He was consistently patient, and his method of clearly explaining each drill and emphasizing that "reps matter" built a foundation of skill and discipline that has proven invaluable. For a busy family, the program's flexibility was a game-changer. With year-round training available at various times and locations, we were always able to fit it into our schedule- even if it was in his backyard! This consistent access to high-quality coaching was crucial for Athan's steady improvement. We've watched so many of Ryan's students, including our son, go on to excel in competitive CYO, AAU, and High School programs. This is a direct testament to the effectiveness of his training. Perhaps most impressive is Ryan's genuine connection with his students; he truly remembers everyone who comes through his program, which shows how much he cares. Our only regret is that there isn't more time in the day for Athan to continue training with him. We wholeheartedly recommend Grind City Training to any parent looking for a dedicated, skilled, and caring coach to help their child succeed."

"My daughter Sophia has been training with Ryan for almost two years, and the growth in her game has been incredible. Even when she’s tired after school she wants to go train with him. Ryan is patient, knowledgeable, and fully committed to helping his players improve. He’s pushed her in all the right ways, building her confidence, skills, and understanding of the game. We’re so grateful for everything he’s done. Highly recommend Grind City and Ryan to anyone looking for real development!"

"I highly recommend it! We've been training with Ryan for a long time, and my child is very happy with his work. We started with the basics, and now I can see progress. The skills he teaches aren't available anywhere else! And of course, I have to mention the discipline. My daughter has really fallen in love with basketball since we started playing here, and it's very important to me that she enjoys what she does. I'm grateful to our coach Ryan."

"GC is a great camp led by Ryan. He's a people person an provides a large skill set to people and in my case, my 10 year old son. Hes great with detail, provides explanations and makes corrections, live, that can elevate anyone's gameplay. Grind city dives deeper than simple drills that are repetitive, but rather really useful tactics and thinking you can put into a real game. Ryan's receptive, informative, persistent and passionate. I highly recommend Grind City to anyone who wants to up their kids basketball IQ. Im glad Aiden has this opportunity to be taken under this type of leaders wing."

"Ryan is a fantastic basketball trainer . He has worked with my son for over 6 years and has helped him improve ball handling , shooting and his overall game . Grind city training uses different methods of training to help enhance your players ability to not only improve their skill set but their ability to read and react to game situations . I would definitely recommend Grind City to anyone that wants to take their game to the next level ."

" My son Mikey (Splash) has been training with Grind City Training (Ryan) for over 6 years from a 9 year old to a 15 year old playing high school ball. We have followed Ryan along his training journey and watched him grow. Ryan has pushed my son beyond his limits. He has taught him how to use his size to compete with many defenders. Ryan has become like a family member to us. I highly recommend Ryan if you want to see your child improve their basketball skills."
